Cancellation by the client

The following penalties will apply in case of cancellation:

  • 30 days or more before arrival: 0% of the total booking amount.

  • Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the booking amount.

  • No Show: 100% of the rental amount.

No refunds will be issued if the guest voluntarily interrupts the stay before the scheduled departure date.


Modifications by the company

If, due to unforeseen circumstances not attributable to the company, the accommodation cannot be occupied, the company will offer the client another property of equal or superior category, with no refund due by either party.


Data protection

In compliance with the Spanish Data Protection Law (LOPD 15/1999), we inform you that by completing the booking process, your personal data will be included in the company’s files in order to provide and deliver our services.
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by contacting the company, which is responsible for the data.


Booking terms and conditions

By proceeding with the reservation, you accept the following terms and conditions:

  1. Some short stays may require an additional final cleaning fee.

  2. To confirm the booking, an initial payment of between 10% and 30% of the total amount is required, depending on the time of booking.

  3. The second payment, corresponding to the remaining balance, must be paid between 45 and 30 days before arrival, depending on the booking date.
    Arrival instructions (check-in details, access information and emergency contacts) will be sent two days before arrival, once full payment has been received.

  4. House rules must be respected. Failure to comply may result in the deduction of the security deposit.

  5. Check-in is between 16:00 and 20:00. Check-out must be completed by 10:00. Not respecting these times may incur an extra cost.

  6. A security deposit between €100 and €500 (depending on the property) is required as a credit card pre-authorisation or in cash, to cover potential damages, extra cleaning costs, theft or late check-out.
    The deposit will be refunded after the property inspection, within two weeks after departure.

  7. Once the property has been reserved, changes of accommodation are not permitted without applicable fees.

  8. All accommodations include a basic initial supply (kitchen paper, toilet paper and, occasionally, basic condiments such as salt/pepper). Once used up, the company will not replenish these items; guests are responsible for purchasing additional supplies.

  9. Please treat the property as if it were your own home; do not do anything you would not do in your own house.

TOURIST TAX (ECOTASA)

The Balearic Government has implemented the “Sustainable Tourism Tax” applicable to all stays from 01/07/2016.

This tax must be paid directly to the accommodation upon arrival by bank transfer or credit card.

Rates per person per day:

  • €4.00
    4* superior hotels and aparthotels, 5* and 5* GL, and 4-key (or higher) tourist apartments.

  • €3.00
    4* and 3* superior hotels/aparthotels; 3-key superior apartments.

  • €2.00
    1*, 2* and 3* hotels/aparthotels; tourist apartments (1–3 keys); holiday homes; rural accommodation; cruise ships.

  • €1.00
    Guesthouses, hostels, campsites, shelters and refuges.


Discounts:

  • 75% discount during low season (01/11 – 30/04).

  • 50% discount from the 9th day onwards for stays longer than 8 nights (can be combined with low-season discount).


Exemptions:

  • Guests under 16 years.

  • Stays due to force majeure.

  • Stays subsidised by EU public social programmes.


Important: The Ecotasa is subject to 10% VAT.
