Exploring Mallorca by bike is one of the best ways to discover the island\u2019s most spectacular corners, even outside the summer season. Every year, around 150,000 cyclists visit us, having found in our geography the perfect place both for training and for enjoying a relaxing getaway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mallorca offers significant advantages for practising this sport: a pleasant climate during most of the year, an excellent variety of routes and well-maintained roads. This 20-kilometre journey between Port de Pollen\u00e7a and the lighthouse offers breathtaking views of the sea and the island. It is also a very safe route, as the road is closed to private cars and motorbikes from 10:00 to 19:00 in July and August, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>meaning traffic is minimal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cycling Routes in the North of Mallorca<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Another well-known and much-loved route is the one that crosses the Serra de Tramuntana from Pollen\u00e7a to Andratx. Covering approximately 100 km, it is one of the island\u2019s most spectacular routes. It reaches an elevation of 2,510 metres and passes through some of Mallorca\u2019s most beautiful towns, such as S\u00f3ller, Dei\u00e0, Valldemossa and Banyalbufar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And of course, one of Mallorca\u2019s most famous routes is Sa Calobra, also located in the Tramuntana area. This route is particularly challenging: starting from the small village of Sa Calobra, it climbs through a series of dramatic hairpin bends.
